The First, All-Important Post of the Blog

As I sit here contemplating cutting my fingernails or possibly studying for my test or possibly writing my paper or possibly drying my hair, I think I would just rather start this blog out with something less pressing at the moment.

I am engaged.

I have been engaged for almost two weeks.

This may seem trivial to any other blog passersby, but to me, it's hard to fathom that in about 14 months, I will be married.

Married.

A Mrs. with a Mr. on double addressed envelopes from junk mail companies and telemarketers who are at an unbelievable loss as to how the last name "Nesper" is pronounced.

Married.

I will be sleeping in a bed of as-yet-undetermined size next to a man about 6'2" in size, possibly naked, because I'll be married. (Not, of course, that people don't do that when they're not married. I'm just an exception.) I will be kicking said man in my sleep and trying to fall asleep while he snores and tells me to stop hogging the comforter.

Married. Graduated. 1 year. Insane.

Let's see if I can handle this. Or, rather, let's see if I can let God handle this with me...and Tyler.
